Hello and welcome to my website. I feel very fortunate to have made a career from my love of food and cooking. I trained as a home economist and started my career in the cookery departments of several women’s weekly magazines in London where I learnt food styling and recipe writing on the job.

I became freelance about 30 years ago and ever since I have been writing about food and cookery, creating recipes, styling food for photographs, and hosting cookery demonstrations and workshops. I am based in central Scotland but travel all over the UK and beyond for my work.
