Writing

Writing cookery books and recipes for magazines was something I wanted to do since I was at school. I come from a family of good cooks and was encouraged to get involved in everyday kitchen activity from an early age. I began writing my first recipe features when I worked on Best magazine in the late 1980’s. My book was published in 1995 and since then I have written and contributed to many more. I have been commissioned to write for all sorts of magazines and publications over the years, and these days I am a regular contributor to the cookery pages of My Weekly magazine. I still get a thrill from seeing my work in print.

I am also a proud member of The Guild of Food Writers.

Blog

I became a blogger in 2016 with the launch of My Virtually Free From Kitchen. Here I write about the food I cook at home and my passion for growing my own fruit and vegetables as well as gardening in general. If you fancy taking a look, please click on the link above.
